Round 24’s Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv vs. Khimki Moscow Region game suspended

The Israeli authorities took exceptional flight restriction measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic last Sunday, January 24 which are still in place.

The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 24 between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Khimki Moscow Region that was scheduled to be played on Thursday, February 4 at 20:05 CET, has been suspended due to the governmental restrictions from Israel causing the inability of Khimki Moscow Region to reach Tel Aviv, where the game was to be held.


The Israeli authorities took exceptional flight restriction measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic last Sunday, January 24 which are still in place.


In accordance with the Special Regulations due to COVID-19 in force, each game can be rescheduled or relocated up to three times, if there are available dates. Euroleague Basketball will coordinate with all teams the best options to reschedule or relocate their games. Alternative date or venue will be announced on official Euroleague Basketball platforms once confirmed.
