Rockets to interview Ime Udoka for head coaching position

The Houston Rockets will discuss with Ime Udoka for their head coach position, Kelly Iko reports.

Before being suspended this year, Udoka led the Celtics to the NBA Finals last season.

The Rockets interviewed several candidates, including Frank Vogel, James Borrego, Sam Cassell and Adrian Griffin.

The Houston Rockets will interview Ime Udoka for the franchise’s head coaching job on Wednesday, sources tell @TheAthletic. Udoka was suspended by the Boston Celtics prior to the 2022-23 season for violations of team policies.
