Rockets reportedly working with John Wall to find a new team for point guard

The former Kentucky point guard will be the second highest paid NBA player this year, tied with Harden and behind only Curry

The Houston Rockets and John Wall have agreed on working together to find a new team for the former Kentucky point guard, Shams Charania reports.

Wall will remain with the team for training and other activities, but will not play in official games.

The reporter adds that Houston has no plans to work on a buy-out.

Wall’s contract is for about 91.7 million in the next two seasons (The latter is a player option of over 47 million that the player will certainly exercise).

The former Kentucky point guard will be the second highest paid NBA player this year, tied with Harden and behind only Curry.

Wall  produced averages of 20.6 points and 6.9 assists in 40 games in his first season with the Rockets.
