Roberto Nelson agrees to deal with Southland Sharks

Nelson is heading to New Zealand after leaving the Mexican CIBACOPA

Former Oregon State guard Roberto Nelson has reached an agreement on a deal with the Southland Sharks of New Zealand’s NBL, a source told Sportando.

Nelson previously played in Mexico this season, averaging 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in the LNBP and CIBACOPA. He appeared in 31 LNBP games for the Huracanes and Santos de San Luis Potosi, then he joined the Venados de Mazatlan in the CIBACOPA where he played nine games.
