Real rallied from a 16-point deficit to defeat Zvezda 101-94 for its fourth straight victory. Dzanan Musa poured in 30 points and Mario Hezonja scored 20 points for Real, which improved to 26-6. Nemanja Nedovic dropped 30 points for Zvezda, which fell to 11-21.
The game was tight for the first half with Zvezda leading 20-21 after 10 minutes. The guests had the lead 44-47 at the break. Real was down just 48-60 early in the second half, but Zvezda went on a 1-11 run and eventually extended the lead to 54-70. Real however punched back with the next 13 points and pulled within 72-73. Zvezda was leading 72-75 after 30 minutes. Real opened the fourth quarter by tying the score 75-75. Zvezda picked up the next seven points only to have Musa converted a four-point play to move ahead 86-85. It remained close until Hezonja’s steal and dunk made it 96-93 with 31 seconds left, setting up Real Madrid 26th win of the European season.
