Real Betis announce the signing of Dino Radoncic

Real Betis have announced the arrival of Dino Radoncic, a Montenegrin forward born in 1999. Below is the official statement from the Spanish club.

“Real Betis Baloncesto and winger Dino Radoncic have reached an agreement that will see the Montenegrin player signed until 2025, subject to medical examinations.

Dino Radoncic (1999, Podgorica, Montenegro) has caught the attention of basketball fans and experts alike with his impressive talent on the court. From his earliest days in basketball, Radoncic has proven himself to be an outstanding player with scoring and defensive ability.

Radoncic began his professional career with Montenegrin club Buducnost, where he quickly made a name for himself in the local league. His performances with the team caught the attention of several European clubs, and in 2018 he joined Real Madrid, where he made his debut with the first team in the ACB League at just 16 years old and in the Euroleague later that year. Significantly, he stayed with several Spanish clubs, including San Pablo Burgos, UCAM Murcia and Iberostar Tenerife. In 2023, however, he made the jump to Bayern Munich, one of the most prestigious clubs in Germany and the Euroleague.

At Bayern Munich, Radoncic made a remarkable impact. During the 2023-2024 season, he averaged 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in the Bundesliga, distinguishing himself as a versatile forward capable of playing both on the perimeter and close to the basket. In the Euroleague, his statistics were equally impressive, averaging 8.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest level in Europe.

In addition to his club success, Dino Radoncic has been a key member of the Montenegrin national team, representing his country in international competitions. His ability to come up big has been instrumental in the team’s performance in tournaments like Eurobasket.
