Raptors to play tonight vs Pistons with five players out, Scariolo to coach
Toronto has 11 team members, between coaching staff and players, out to Health and Safety protocols.
The Toronto Raptors will return to the court on Wednesday, after having not played against the Bulls, to face the Detroit Pistons without Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Patrick McCaw, all of whom are ruled out due to health and safety protocols.
Head coach Nick Nurse and five of his staff members also remain out. Assistant Sergio Scariolo will coach the Raptors.
Toronto also called up Jalen Harris and Donta Hall from their G League team. GM Bobby Webster added that the players who are out aren’t expected to return for Thursday’s back-to-back game against the Celtics.
