Powerful second half display gives Fenerbahce winning boost over Khimki

Zeljko Obradovic celebrates 200 games as Fenerbahce coach by winning over Khimki 89-76.

A masterful second-half performance, despite absences from Nando De Colo, Nikola Kalinic, Jan Vesely and Leo Westermann, has given Fenerbahce Istanbul their second consecutive Euroleague win (and fourth of the season) over Khimki Moscow for 89-76. Zeljko Obradovic has celebrated his 200th game as the Turkish side coach with a game important to boost the team morale and relaunch their European aspirations.

Khimki started the game well, scoring 49 points in the first half -leading by 5- behind Janis Timma inspiring performance (24 of his 26 points came in the first 20 minutes), but Fenerbahce was able to bounce back thanks to Luigi Datome (20 points with 3/4 from 3),  Melih Mahmutoglu (19 shooting 5/7 from behind the arc) and Kostas Sloukas (19, 9 assists, 3/6 on 3) three pointers, plus a third quarter with only 6 allowed points.
