Mavs’ Kristaps Porzingis ejected after second technical for ‘being an escalator’
Kristaps Porzingis has been ejected early in the third quarter of NBA Playoffs Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Latvian got his second technical after an altercation with Marcus Morris and was ejected.
But a lot of people criticized the officials’ decision, starting from LeBron James and Dirk Nowitzki.
Per ESPN, “I saw him getting into Luka’s face and I didn’t like that,” said Porzingis, who had 14 points and six rebounds in 20 minutes before his ejection. “That’s why I reacted. That’s a smart, smart thing to do from their part. I’ve just got to be smarter and control my emotions the next time.”
