Paul George: “It’s a real brotherhood, it’s going to be a fun year”
Paul George, who arrived in free agency from the Clippers, participated in the 76ers’ media day talking about the season now approaching.
Paul George was definitely one of the signing of the summer, coming to the Philadelphia 76ers to form a big three along with Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid to try to bring the title back to Philadelphia after more than 40 years. Since Joel Embiid arrived, dashing 76ers fans’ hopes for a new golden era, the team has never even reached the Conference Finals. That’s why the front office decided to go all in on George, who is also in the hunt for his first personal title.
At the team’s media day Paul George introduced himself, talking about the team and the season ahead:
"This is my first time playing with an elite guard and an elite center all together”, he said referring to two of his teammates, Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid. "A very talented group, top to bottom…. The character here, everyone is on the same page. It’s a real brotherhood… It’s going to be a fun year."
