Patty Mills scores 30 points, Australia defeats Team USA 98-94

The U.S. men's basketball team has lost for the first time in nearly 13 years

In its second exhibition game against Australia at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and in front of 52,079 fans, the USA Basketball Men’s National Team came up short against Australia 98-94 on Saturday night.

Australia’s Patty Mills, who finished with 30 points, scored the final 10 points for the Boomers to help secure his side the win. Andrew Bogut ended with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assist, while Joe Ingles added 15 points and 7 assist.

For the USA this is the first loss in nearly 13 years, Kemba Walker (Boston Celtics) finished with 22 points, while Harrison Barnes (Sacramento Kings) scored 20 points.
