Patty Mills on fire, Australia beat Czech-Republic and advance to the FIBA World Cup semi final

The Boomers are in the Semi-Finals of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for the first time ever.

Australia beat Czech republic 82-70 and advance to the FIBA World Cup semi final.

Patty Mills was the top scorer with 24 points (6/9 from long range) plus 4 rebounds and 6 assist, Andrew Bogut added 10 points (5/6 FG), 3 assist and 3 blocks.

Mills, who should be the favorite for the  FIBA World Cup MVP, scored on two jumpers in the final minute to close the game.

For the Czech-Republic, Tomas Satoransky was on the brink of history with 13 points, 13 assists and 9 rebounds, but could not get the first ever triple-double in World Cup history.
