Panathinaikos to pay Reggio Emilia €100k to release Mateusz Ponitka

Polish forward will play Euroleague with Greek side next season while Italian team will receive a big buyout check

Mateusz Pontika will leave Pallacanestro Reggiana to join Panathinaikos. Deal is not 100% done yet but it will be finalized very soon.


Buyout is around €100k as reported first by Christos Harpidis. A previous figure – €25k – is about the amount of the clause after the first two months of Reggio Emilia’s contract with Ponitka
