Coach Ergin Ataman fined after accusations against referees in Game 1 against Olympiacos in Greek championship final.
Panathinaikos is playing the Greek championship final against Olympiacos these days, and after losing the first game, coach Ergin Ataman was fined for loud protests and accusations against the referees. The coach of the Greek team allegedly called on the federation to invite foreign referees to referee the most important games of the year, saying that he understood why this was already happening in the football league. He went on to say that if this does not happen, then obviously everything is “already decided”.
In addition, coach Ataman refused to hold the usual post-match press conference.
