Another home win for Panathinaikos, which extended its lead over the 9th place by dominating Asvel Villeurbanne 100-88, after reaching a +23 lead in the 3rd quarter. It is Asvel’s fifth consecutive loss in Euroleague.
Panathinaikos was led by a masterful game from Nick Calathes, who dished 17 assists helping inspiring offensive performances from Fredette (22 points shooting 10/12), Papapetrou (21 with 8/11) and Rice (4/5 from 3). Asvel had good performances by youngsters Maledon (19) and Strazel (14).
