A stunning and fabulous turnaround, from second-to-last in the standings to Euroleague champion once again, for the first time in 13 years. Berlin’s night belongs to Panathinaikos as Ergin Ataman’s side prevails in the Final over Real Madrid, who miss the chance of a historic back-to-back after a total meltdown in the second half. The Spanish giants led by 14 in the 2nd quarter after a 36-point first quarter, but it wasn’t enough to hold off Kostas Sloukas’ masterpiece night (24 points, 6/6 FG).
