Pallacanestro Varese penalized by 16 points by the Federal Court
The Federal Court has also banned the President of the Pallacanestro Varese basketball club, Marco Vittorelli, until April 13, 2026
Following the referral from the Federal Prosecutor’s Office for sports fraud and illegal sports activities, the Federal Court has applied a penalty of 16 points to the Pallacanestro Varese basketball club in the current sports season for failing to comply with the payment of all obligations towards its registered players, contrary to what was submitted during the admission to the Serie A 2022-2023 Championship.
The Federal Court has also banned the President of the Pallacanestro Varese basketball club, Marco Vittorelli, until April 13, 2026 (3 years).
