Olympiacos Piraeus reached an agreement with Ethan Happ on a two-year deal on Thursday. Happ (2.08 meters, 23 years old) is set to start his professional basketball career in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with the Reds. He just finished his college basketball career at the University of Wisconsin, where he averaged 17.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 blocks in 34 NCAA games last season. A three-time All-Big Ten selection, Happ received the 2019 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award as the top men’s collegiate center. Happ has been a member of the USA U18 national team and played at the 2014 Albert Schweitzer Tournament, where he tallied 19.1 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.4 steals in seven games and helped his team reach the final.
