Sikma will leave the Reds after one season
Olympiacos does not plan to exercise the option for the 2024-25 season included in Luke Sikma’s contract, according to SDNA.
The experienced power forward will thus leave the Reds after one season, in which he struggled to find space in coach Bartzokas’ rotation (11 minutes per game in Euroleague) for a variety of reasons.
Before his arrival in Greece Sikma was considered among the smartest and most versatile power forwards in the competition (7.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 2022-23 with Alba Berlin).
