Olimpia Milano reaches agreement in principle with Shelvin Mack

With Mack in, Mike James is expected to leave

Olimpia Milano has reached an agreement in principle with Shelvin Mack, a source told Sportando.
The free agent guard was Milano’s top target since weeks but after his chances to sign a guaranteed deal in the NBA decreased Ettore Messina’s team decided to make an important offer to sign him.

Mack has played eight seasons in the NBA averaging 6.6 points, 2 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 456 games.
The guard has played between Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies last season appearing in 57 contests and averaging 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

With the arrival of Shelvin Mack, Mike James is expected to leave Olimpia Milano.
The EuroLeague top scorer of the 2018-2019 season has two years left on his contract with AX Armani Exchange Milano at more than $1.5 million per season. The second year is not fully guaranteed as Milano can opt out of the deal paying a buyout.
