Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano announces that it has reached an agreement up to and including the 2025/26 season with Zach LeDay, born in Dallas, Texas, on May 30, 1994, 2.02 in stature, forward, last season at Partizan Belgrade, already in Milan in the 2020/21 season.


ZACH LEDAY – “I want to be as simple, concise and hopefully as sweet as possible on this what for me is a happy day: I’m back in Milan. Let’s pick up where we left off”.


CAREER – Growing up in Dallas, Zach LeDay played at Skyline High School before transferring for his senior year at The Colony High School. After two years at South Florida University, he transferred to Virginia Tech for his final two college seasons. In the former he scored 15.5 points with 7.9 rebounds on average, in the latter he rose to 17.0 points per game, as well as 7.6 rebounds. In 2017 he was second quintet in the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) Tournament. In 2017 he began his professional career at Hapoel Gilboa in Israel, where he averaged 19.5 points (second highest scorer in the league) with 8.2 rebounds per game (fifth overall). He was also second in scoring and blocked shots. The following season, he moved to Olympiacos Piraeus where in the EuroLeague he scored 9.7 points per game with 4.0 rebounds (11.2 points and 4.9 rebounds average in Greece). In 2019 he moved to Zalgiris Kaunas where he scored 11.8 points per game with 4.7 rebounds. He won the Lithuanian title and the Lithuanian Cup. In 2020 he arrived in Milan, winning the Supercup and Italian Cup and helping the team reach the EuroLeague Final Four (10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds on average, 46.6 % in three-point shooting, 91.8 % in free throws). In the league, he averaged 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds. Over the next three years, he played for Partizan Belgrade, winning the Adriatic League title in 2023. In the 2022/23 EuroLeague season he scored 11.4 points per game and grabbed 5.1 rebounds on average. In the 2023/24 season he had 10.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

NOTES – He played in the Israeli All-Star Game in 2017/18. He was MVP of the EuroLeague Round 10 in the 2018/19 season. He was the author of Olimpia’s winning basket in Game 1 of the EuroLeague playoffs against Bayern Munich in 2021. In 2021/22 in the Eurocup he scored 12.9 points with 5.5 rebounds per game.
