After recuperating from a catastrophic ACL injury that kept him out of action for the whole 2021–2022 season, Jamal Murray has made a victorious comeback.
Murray bounced back from the loss and played a significant role in the Nuggets’ NBA championship win the previous season.
Recently, other star and teammate Nikola Jokic offered his thoughts on Murray’s development. He claims that the point guard has not only recovered to his pre-injury level but has also greatly improved.
"He’s much better. Not even close. I think he’s much better," the Serbian superstar said.
Jokic went into further detail about the modifications he has seen in Murray’s game, pointing out his improved maturity, experience, and sense of timing.
"Mature, experienced, slow the games. I think just because of the injury slow him down, so he needed to read a little bit better. Maybe it sounds stupid, but I the injury helped him," he said about Murray as reported by Talkbasket.
