New York Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson will be sidelined for six to eight weeks due to a stress injury to his left ankle, as confirmed by the team.

The injury occurred after just 12 minutes in Monday night’s victory against the Indiana Pacers, following a previous surgery that Robinson underwent in December, causing him to miss 50 games.

His return is expected almost at the end of the NBA Finals, putting his participation for the remainder of the playoffs in doubt.
