New York Knicks, Barkley: “Brunson the best signing ever from free agency”
Charles Barkley had some honeyed words for Jalen Brunson, who is the New York Knicks’ top offensive option.
The New York Knicks eliminated the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, and much of the credit goes to Jalen Brunson. In fact, Brunson averaged 35.5 points, 9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game in the series against the Sixers. Talking about him was Charles Barkley, who had some honeyed words about him.
Charles Barkley on Jalen Brunson: “Jalen Brunson is one of the best signings in the history of free agency. When I said that, you thought I was crazy. He’s not LeBron James, he’s not Kobe Bryant, he’s not Kevin Durant…. But this guy shocked everybody. I guarantee you the Knicks didn’t think he was that good when they signed him”.
