NBA wants teams to have contingency plan for Coronavirus by Tuesday

A memo has been given to all franchises in order to adopt a common plan against the Coronavirus outbreak.

The NBA delivered a memo giving teams a Tuesday deadline to deliver several precautionary measures for the coronavirus, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The league will conduct a conference all with team doctors and trainers on Monday night.

The NBA wants teams to have an infectious disease specialist on call, a nearby testing site for the virus, and a roster of essential employees who have contact with players. The league has already made it mandatory to distribute hand-sanitizer to players and staff.
