NBA sends memo to teams about new proposed tampering rules

Under the new rules, teams would face $10 million in fines

In an effort to prevent tampering, NBA sent memo to teams about new rules which will include a significant fine increase. The NBA Board of Governors will vote on September 20 to pass the new rules.

According, to Shams Charania, teams would face $10 million in fines, which is up from $5 million. Unauthorized agreements would result in a $6 million fine for teams and $250K for players.
