NBA players to be daily tested for COVID-19 once season resumes

A positivity would lead to a quarantine of minimum seven days.

The National Basketball Players Association has informed players that the NBA/NBPA will conduct COVID-19 testing every night during the resumed season, as reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The tests will likely be conducted via mouth swabs and light nasal swabs and not the full invasive nasal swab. A player tested positive will be quarantined for a minimum of seven days.
