NBA, NBPA discussing adding a third two-way contract per team
The move would ease roster shortages for teams.
The NBA and NBPA are discussing the expansion of rosters to allow for a third Two-Way contract, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
There’s currently momentum towards the idea as many teams deal with player shortages. Players on Two-Way contracts are eligible to be activated for up to 50 of the 72 regular season games this season.
