NBA has fined Timberwolves $250K for organizing offseason practice outside of team market. Minnesota had team activities in Miami in early September, workouts centered around minority owner Alex Rodriguez’s house in Miami as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski
Team had a dinner with Rodriguez and his minority ownership partner, Marc Lore, at Rodriguez’s house to end the week. Under NBA rules, however, teams aren’t allowed to organize or pay for offseason group workouts outside market. Minnesota has posted pictures of it all over social media
