The NBA has announced that Commissioner Emeritus David Stern has died at 77 years old, as a result of a brain hemorrhage suffered approximately three weeks ago.
“Because of David, the NBA is a truly global brand, making him not only one of the greatest sports commissioners of all time but also one of the most influential business leaders of his generation”, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has said in a statement.
