Montrell Dixson signs with Guelph Nighthawks

The former JBA player is heading to Canada after a brief stint in Kazakhstan

Former JBA player Montrell Dixson has signed with the Guelph Nighthawks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League, the team announced. The league tips off in May and runs until August.

The 21-year-old forward played eight league games in Kazakhstan for Barsy Atyrau this season, averaging 8.8 points and 5.9 rebounds in 19.2 minutes of action while shooting 45% from three on 2.5 attempts per game.

Last summer, Dixson played for the Chicago Ballers in the JBA, the league founded by LaVar Ball.
