Monaco becomes 15th team assured of a place in 2021-22 Euroleague
As a Eurocup finalist, Monaco will make its Euroleague debut next season after Valencia’s elimination from the Playoff.
As a consequence of Valencia’s elimination from the Euroleague Playoffs, AS Monaco will make an historic first time appearance in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as one of this season’s Eurocup finalists.
Monaco was in France’s 4th division until 2011-12 and returned to France’s top division in 2014-15. In their rise, the team reached twice the Basketball Champions League Final Four in the competition’s inaugural two season, losing the 2018 final to AEK Athens.
