Now that the trade deadline is upon us, there might be updates about Milos Teodosic’s future with the Los Angeles Clippers. In the past few weeks, Clippers have explored some trade options for the Serbian point guard but nothing has been determined yet. Among the NBA teams that have expressed some level of interest in Teodosic there are Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls, a source told Sportando. Teodosic is making $6.3 mln this season but has struggled to find minutes inside Clippers rotation, so far he has only played 15 games this season, averaging only 10 minutes per game. A trade for him is still possible.
But the strongest interest for Teodosic comes from Europe. It’s no mystery that the Serbian point guard would love to return in the European market, as he already stated back in November. If Teodosic will hit the free agent market, Maccabi Tel Aviv is ready and willing to offer him a rich multi-year deal, a source told Sportando. The Israeli powerhouse has been in touch with the player a lot in the last few weeks, a source with knowledge of the situation told Sportando and has expressed very strong interest in bringing Teodosic back to Europe.
From Turkey, Anadolu Efes is keeping an eye on the situation too. The Turkish club, who’s living a good Euroleague season, has followed Teodosic since last summer and would be ready to make a big investment on the point guard, making him one of the most paid players in Europe, a source told Sportando.
