Milano secures back-to-back LBA titles in Game 7

For the first time in over 35 years, Olimpia wins consecutive Italian league titles after a Game 7 win over Virtus Bologna, 67-55

With a strong statement win in Game 7 over Virtus Bologna, Olimpia Milano repeats as Italian league champion for the second consecutive season, the 30th time overall. Milano led wire-to-wire allowing just 9 points in the first quarter and 5 in the third to a Virtus Bologna side that struggled on both sides of the floor. Gigi Datome had a game-high performance for Milano with 16 points (10 in the 1st), joined in double digit by Baron (11) and Shields (10). Shengelia led Virtus Bologna with 13 points, with Marco Belinelli going scoreless in 20′.
