Melo Trimble signs with Melbourne United

The move is now official

It’s official. Melo Trimble will be returning to the NBL for the 2019/20 season.

Melbourne United today announced that Trimble has signed with the Club on a one-year deal fresh off finishing in the All-NBL Second Team.

The 2014 McDonald’s All-American point guard played three years of college basketball at the University of Maryland where he averaged 16.8 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game in his final season in 2016/17.

Playing for the Cairns Taipans last season, the 24-year-old played in all 28 games, finishing second in scoring after averaging 22.5 points along with 4.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 34 minutes of action per game.
