According to Brad Townsend, the Dallas Mavs are mulling whether to add a 3/4 to the roster. The reporter adds that they have talked with Charlotte for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and with the reigning champs for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
MKG has played just 12 times this year, with averages of 4 points and 2.9 rebounds.
Hollis-Jefferson is playing an important role in the Raptors’ second unit, with 7.6 points, 5 rebounds and 1.7 assist per game.
Reporting with @rick_bonnell, Mavericks are mulling whether to add a 3/4 defender. I'm told they have "kicked tires" on Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Toronto's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, but purely exploratory at this point. Trade deadline is one week from today.
