Markieff Morris to remain with Mavs

According to Shams Charania, the Dallas Mavericks and Markieff Morris have agreed on a new contract that will allow the former Kansas forward to play another season with Coach Kidd’s group.
The reporter of The Athletic explains that this was one of Dallas’ offseason priorities, as the Texas team did not want to lose Morris’ contribution in terms of leadership in the locker room.
