Hezonja, according to the Spanish newspaper, is not satisfied with either the club’s offer or his role within Chus Mateo’s rotation.
On the table, Panathinaikos would have put a three-year contract worth a total of €6 million net. A contract that Real would not be willing to match, as the future of Tavares and Poirier is also at stake.
Mario Hezonja, class of 1995 represented by Andrew Morrison of CAA, is averaging 22 minutes per season between EuroLeague and ACB. He played for Panathinaikos for five months on his return from the NBA in 2021.
