Luke Kennard reportedly signing one-year, $11 million contract with Grizzlies
The former Duke shooter last year produced 11 points (45% 3P) and 3.5 assist in 25 minutes
Luke Kennard and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a one-year, $11 million contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Kennard has knocked down 48 percent of the long-range shots attempted in 63 games with the Grizzlies.
Adding $11 million puts the team’s payroll about $900,000 (via Capsheets) over the Luxury Tax threshold (about $170.8 million), but the Front Office will most likely avoid paying the tax with a minor trade before the trade deadline.
