Lucas Nogueira announced on social media his retirement as a player at the age of 28.
The Brazilian big man decided to end his career due to the numerous injuries he suffered over the years.
Nogueira was the No.16 pick of the 2013 NBA Draft. He averaged 3.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1 block over 4 seasons with the Toronto Raptors.
This year Nogueira played 10 games in Brazil for Basquete Cearense.
