Lenovo Tenerife has secured the services of center Dusan Ristic for the next two seasons, with an option for a third. The new Canarista player is a Serbian international, comes from Turkish Galatasaray, and is already familiar with the Liga Endesa from his time at Fuenlabrada.
Ristic (Novi Sad, 1995) is a 2.14m tall interior player who started at KK FMP Meridian before moving to Red Star, just before completing his education in the NCAA, specifically with the Arizona Wildcats, where he averaged 12.2 points and 7 rebounds in his final year.
Once his university journey (2014-2018) ended, Dusan returned to Europe to embark on a notable trajectory that took him again through Red Star, as well as BC Astana, Pallacanestro Brescia, and Avtodor Saratov before signing for Fuenlabrada in the summer of 2021.
Ristic played a season and a half there (last year he averaged 15.7 points and 6.2 rebounds for a rating of 17.2 credits per game), to sign midway through the season with Galatasaray, a team with which he competed in the Basketball Champions League.
During his stint with the Turkish team, the Serbian center averaged 8.1 points (with 40% in triples) and 4.9 rebounds in the domestic league; and 10.7 points and 7.8 rebounds, in the Basketball Champions League.
