Lakers assistant Jason Kidd an option for UNLV

Kidd could be interested in taking the college job.

Hall of Famer and Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd has emerged as a candidate of interest for the UNLV coaching job, reports Sam Gordon of the Las Vegas Review Journal.

The Rebels are intrigued by Kidd as a potential replacement for T.J. Otzelberger, according to people with knowledge of the situation. Kidd was reportedly interested in the job in 2019, when Otzelberger was ultimately appointed. There’s a belief that Kidd could be still interested today.
