Kyle Anderson received Chinese citizenship through naturalization, the Chinese Basketball Association announced. Anderson’s maternal grandmother was born in Jamaica to a Chinese father and Jamaican mother.
Timberwolves forward has confirmed his intention to play in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, which will see China face Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico in Group B in Manila.
