In a complaint claiming the theft of secret papers, the New York Knicks are suing the Toronto Raptors for more than $10 million in damages.
Along with claiming that Adam Silver shouldn’t adjudicate the dispute because of his personal acquaintance with Raptors governor Larry Tanenbaum, the Knicks filed the complaint on Monday.
The Knicks responded to the Raptors’ October 16 move to dismiss the case with their filing.
A former Knicks staffer is accused in the first complaint of providing thousands of private documents to the Raptors after the team started wooing him in the summer of 2023.
Regarding the story, the Raptors declined to comment, as reported by ESPN.
