Kings, Thunder win Draft order tiebreakers
Tiebreakers were needed for mid-first round picks.
The NBA has broken two ties of teams with identical records to set the 2020 draft order.
The Sacramento Kings won a tiebreaker with the New Orleans Pelicans. Both teams had 28-36 records. The Oklahoma City Thunder won a tiebreaker with the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz. The Rockets had second place in the tiebreaker while the Jazz had third place.
Sacramento will now have a 1.3% odds to obtain the #1 Draft Pick instead of New Orleans’ 1.2%, while Oklahoma City’s pick (to be conveyed to Philadelphia via Orlando) will be #21.
