Bucks’ Khris Middleton declines $40M player option to become free agent
Khris Middleton will become a free agent from July 1
In order to become a free agency, Khris Middleton has refused the Milwaukee Bucks’ $40 million option.
This season, Middleton fought with ailments as his output decreased. Some believed Middleton’s participation in Milwaukee’s coaching search to be an indication that he would stick with the team even if he did test the free agent market.
Middleton has completed a five-year, $178 million deal with the Bucks that he inked in the 2019 summer.
