Khimki Moscow Region’s banged-up backcourt added another member when it learned that Egor Vialtsev could miss the next month with a knee injury. Vialtsev started his team’s VTB United League game against Enisey on Sunday, but was forced to the sidelines after less than 3 minutes. After further evaluation, he will need to sit out for up to a month before returning to action. Vialtsev, 33, joined Khimki in 2011 and after Sergey Monia is the club’s longest-tenured player.
