Kevin Porter Jr, triple double and sworn love at Paok: but Panathinaikos qualifies
Kevin Porter Jr dominates against Panathinaikos, but his Paok is still eliminated: his words of love to the club and the fans.
Paok was eliminated by Panathinaikos 2-0 in the Greek Championship playoffs, but Kevin Porter Jr. played a game of the highest level. In fact, the former NBA player had a triple-double of 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists (with 3 steals), playing all 45 minutes and never leaving the court. At the end of the game, the player seemed moved and almost cried because it was his last (season?) game in a Paok jersey. These are his statements after the game.
Kevin Porter Jr. about his future: “If it was up to me, I don’t see myself in any other club outside of the NBA. If I get the opportunity to go back to the NBA, I’ll probably go back. If it’s not the NBA, I don’t want to play for any other club than PAOK. I feel that they welcomed me and gave me an opportunity that many overlooked. I am very grateful. There is a family here, it is very familiar. This is what I needed to come out of the shell I was in, so I don’t see myself playing for any other club abroad than PAOK.
