Jordan Loyd would like to stay ‘many years’ with AS Monaco
Loyd joined the Principality’s team on a two-year deal in July 2022
Jordan Loyd recently spoke with Basketnews‘ Donatas Urbonas about his desire to continue playing with AS Monaco.
"Honestly, Monaco is a place I call home. My family loves it. It’s a place I want to be many years. I have no problem saying that publicly. But obviously, things happen. With the injury situation this past year, you always remember it’s a business.
It’s probably been the toughest year I’ve had physically and mentally. Naturally, I want to show everyone I’m healthy, I can play, and all that stuff is behind me"
This year, his second with AS Monaco, Loyd has stepped on the court 17 times in Euroleague, producing 10.9 points and 1.7 assists.
In his first season under Obradovic, the versatile guard was among the key players in the historic Final Four qualification and the victory in the French championship.
