Joel Embiid drops fourth career triple-double (40+14+10) in big wins vs Cavs
In his 40-point triple-double, Embiid shot 11-for-22 from the floor, 4-for-5 from 3-point range, and 14-for-15 from the free-throw line.
The 76ers beat the Cavs with Joel Embiid’s 31st straight game with at least 25 points.
The big man made the fourth triple-double of his career with 40 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals, as well as a spectacular dunk on Jarrett Allen that excited the Wells Fargo Center crowd.
Obviously Embiid can’t wait to play with James Harden:
”He’s going to make the game easy for all of us, especially me,” Embiid said. ”I don’t get a lot of easy shots. I have to work for most of them. I hope he’s going to make my game easier.”
